This is a photo of the actual box and decanter I received. It seems seller should post one like it and not of the original version which was what I expected to receive. The cologne is different too. This should be in the description as well so buyers know what they are purchasing. You must decide if you like the newer blend by smelling the air around the plastic wrapped box because they won't accept a return that's been opened to spray a dot on. Thought this might be helpful info..

    Nice scent but to short lasting

    I like the smell of it but it only last about 1 hour and than gone. My Dad had the original one and it lasted way longer. Still, I enjoy the scent and it is a good price.

    Perfect for summer

    1881 is a light, fresh scent. The notes are citrus/herbal with a floral aspect emerging over time. Once the initial lemony blast quiets down it becomes a subtle background fragrance suitable for daily wear. It lasts six to eight hours and is one of my favorites.

    Maybe the best designer classic Aromatic Fougere ?

    1881 pour homme is a benchmark for fresh fougère. Another beautiful composition by Martin Gras. Creates the emotions of living in a house between the ocean and a pine forest.
