For everyone on the fence about getting this game, it's got a nice relaxing feel if you want to play a game purely for enjoyment. You play the role of a mosquito. The point of the game is to suck blood from certain members of a Japanese family. There are certain spots predetermined in each level for you to suck from and a certain amount of blood that needs to be sucked. In later levels, the suck spots become ridiculously hard to get to, for example in one level you have to suck blood from the bottom of a lip and another level you have to suck from the eyebrow. You rotate the right analog stick to suck the blood. The faster you rotate, the faster you suck, but the faster you suck, the more likely you are to be noticed. The game has a nice feeling of free roam. You're put in a room with your target individual and you're given free reign of the territory to explore and map out all corners of the room. Helps to determine places you can hide if you're spotted. In later levels, you'll encounter traps like mosquito coils and insecticide sprays to add a level of difficulty. Overall, I think this is a fairly fun game that puts you in the role of a common flying insect and see what they see. I wouldn't recommend this game for hardcore gamers looking for a challenge or alot of replayability, but more for gamers who like weird games with absolute no real point or strategy. It's still a nice game to pick up and play every now and then.Read full review
This is a fun and very innovating game, alot different then your usual jump&run platform or run&gun games. Although a bit outdated by now and with a few minor problems, it is and was(for me) a great buy. This is definitely not a kid's game, it's a game for all ages. If ur board/tired of all the same old FPS games, platforms and sport's games, then this might serf u well. If u can score one for around $10 or less, don't think about it, just buy it. I just wish it were longer.Too bad they didn't port the sequel Mister Mosquito 2 over, because I would definitely buy that too.I also really wish there would be more games like this in the future. 10/10.
Let's be real here, this game is about blood. Delicious blood. You're a Mosquito, a mini vampire, sucking human blood. You play as a mosquito who flys around different rooms of the house, praying on the entire family. The gameplay is solid, though it's fairly short if you rush through it. Whenever you've been seen, a battle sequence initiates and mayhem ensues. For what it is, it's great. It's funny. It's different. It's FUN! But if you're looking for a game with great flying controls and lots of action, check out Skygunner (ps2). If you're really into sucking blood, rpgs, or generally having fun, definitely check out Vampire: the masquerade - bloodlines (pc). Name just rolls off the tongue.

At first, this looked like a super fun game with tons of simulated levels. I was right, but not all the way. For the first two hours of the game I was trying to figure out how to play, and from then on it was full fledged fun. With all the other extras like tring to get hearts all around the rooms (levels)to get a larger life, I was enjoying myself. However, on the third day, I was getting a little sick of it. Technically, through out the whole game, you are doing nothing but the same thing over and over just harder and in different rooms. After a while, I beat it with a game time of 8 hours! 8 hours! So I decided to replay and see if I missed somthing, but nope, I didn't, and it was deja-vu all over again. However I beat it again for the heck of it, and I now possess the power to beat it in 2 hours flat! There is tons of fun to be had; but mostly to the fans of Fresh Games (the publisher and producer). In conclusion, it really is a good game, but not on the top or up to par. But if you are a video game junky, you should buy it, because it is getting cheap enough and with the Playstation 3 just around the corner, it could get even cheaper.Read full review
