    I have had several bottles over the years. I compare the scent to the original one I bought at Nordstrom when it just came out. This amazing fragrance will have the ladies in a trance. It's like walking into a shop in the mountains that sell cedar boxes in the spring with the doors wide open with all the growing trees and flowers giving off their tranquillity......oh back to this batch. This batch "I wont use number" is the closest to the original. I give it 8.5 Considering I've purchased from stores, specialty shops and Ebay, I ve had less than acceptable bottles that ended up being given away. They were watered down or way off the original.     The Original and the Best! ( Move Along Gucci pour Homme II :)

    This cologne was around at least 5 years before Gucci pour Homme II and Gucci must have cloned it cos it smells EXACTLY like this. If you know what Gucci pour Homme II smells like than you know this one, it is identical. This one, however, is a better value cos it costs approximately 2/3's less than Gucci pour Homme II in most places and you can pick up a large EDP bottle for around 40 dollars. This cologne is DEFINITELY worth it and should be in any suave man's repertoire. It is not very well-known and it shouldn't be, a superior man shouldn't reveal ALL his secrets and so don't EVER reveal this one or you'll lose those lovely ladies to a guy with a silver tongue silkier than yours!     Masculine and the women love it on their man!

    My Favorite since the 1990s! I have used not only this blend, Equus, but also two other scents from Lalique. The one with a "ram" on the bottle is the one that started me with Lalique. It has become impossible to find now so I am using the second best favorite, Equus, the "horse."

    The scent of kings.

    Lalique Pour Homme aka Lalique Lion is a beautiful classy EDP that smells very similar in all aspects to Creed's Bois du Portugal.....The Creed has a lush, slightly more enticing, citrus and floral, aromatic opening; BUT the Lalique's opening is also very good.....Bois du Portugal's top notes are just more 'fresh'.....The dry down and sillage are the very same to my nose however and in fact the Lalique has better longevity of 12 plus hours.....Lalique Lion is a strong, yet subtle scent -- A little goes a long way.....I highly recommend this clean, interesting, smooth and distinctly elegant fragrance for men that wish to exemplify those same qualities.
