Reviews
A new thriller from Brad Thor has become as much a part of summer as Popsicles and fireflies -- and Thor's astonishing Black Ice does not disappoint. This is the kind of novel that you pick up . . . and before you know it, you've read 90 pages and don't want to put it down., What distinguishes a good thriller novel from the best? Brad Thor ... It's uncanny how a Brad Thor novel comes across as not merely an entertaining work of fiction, but often also a prediction of tomorrow's news.

INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER "[A]nother instant classic." -- The Real Book Spy "The undisputed master of blending geopolitics with spycraft...a thriller aficionado's dream." -- The Providence Journal The new Cold War is about to go hot. #1 New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author Brad Thor is back with his most intense thriller yet. Scot Harvath is having his best summer ever. With a cottage on the fjord, a boat, and his beautiful girlfriend S lvi, he's got everything he could possibly want. But out of vacation days and long overdue back home, America's top spy has a decision to make--return, or submit his resignation. When his deadly past comes calling, though, he'll be left with no choice at all. Leaving his favorite Oslo café, Harvath watches as a ghost climbs out of a taxi--a man he killed years ago, halfway around the world. How is he still alive? And what is he doing in Norway? In a race against time that will take him high above the Arctic Circle, Harvath is tested in ways he has never imagined and pushed to a limit few human beings could ever endure. If he succeeds, he'll walk away with everything. If he fails, the United States and its allies will be at the mercy of one of the world's most dangerous actors., INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER "[A]nother instant classic." -- The Real Book Spy "The undisputed master of blending geopolitics with spycraft...a thriller aficionado's dream." -- The Providence Journal The new Cold War is about to go hot. #1 New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author Brad Thor is back with his most intense thriller yet. I'm so happy to have found this rare gem in your selection. It was wrapped carefully and arrived safely in a few days. The cookbook was impeccably described and all the pics showed a great amount of details. Considering how few of these are around the price was very reasonable. Thank you for the great service, I'm looking forward to finding more delightful treasures!

  • An Interesting Brad Thor Novel

This novel is not his best work, but is entertaining, especially if you already read his preceding Scot Harvath novel. His counterpart in Norway from his prior novel is back, and he has to unwind a joint collaboration of nations working together to undermine the USA. Unfortunately, he and his team easily overcome the opposition in a game of beat the clock. The most excitement is whether he can grab a piece of technology from the bad guys and get it intact to the US Embassy in Norway for American scientists to examine. Harvath is particularly brutal in his quest in this tale.
