Experience portable gaming without limits with the Nintendo DS Lite Guitar Hero: On Tour edition. Challenge yourself in single-player modes or alongside other players via local Wi-Fi capabilities. This package includes everything you need to get started: the handheld console itself, the game cartridge, and the guitar grip. The DS Lite by Nintendo is a dual-screen portable gaming system. This handheld console uses cartridges. It supports cards made specifically for the DS and DS Lite as well as those made for the Game Boy Advance. Game saves are stored on the cartridge, and the unit also has 4MB of RAM and 256KB of flash memory. The core processor is an ARM9, which operates at 67 MHz. A built-in Wi-Fi adapter allows connection to the Internet as well as direct connection with other Nintendo devices. The top screen is a 3.12-inch TFT color LCD display. It supports a 256 by 192 resolution and more than 260,000 colors. The lower screen is the same size but differs in that it is an analog touch screen. A stylus is provided and hides away neatly in a side-mounted port. These consoles also have built-in controls. Those controls include A-B-X-Y face buttons, left and right shoulder bumpers, Start and Select buttons, and power and volume sliders. The Nintendo DS also features two distinct cartridge ports. One port is for DS and DS Lite cartridges, and the other is for GBA titles. There’s no need to get Guitar Hero: On Tour separately because the game cartridge is included in the box. Although most games in this series use a Guitar Hero guitar, this version uses a special peripheral. The game fits into the DS slot, and the guitar grip fits into the GBA slot. Guitar Hero games provide their own musical content, and the set list included with On Tour is 30 full songs deep. You can have songs play at random, or you can select one from a favorite genre. Note that not all songs are available at the start. Some have to be unlocked through the gameplay.

    Took a chance - went bust

    The listing said it would not power on but cosmetically it was in great shape. Upon arrival, I concurred with the case looking good. But when I opened it up, there was extensive water damage. The unit is not repairable and no electronic parts are salvageable. That's the chance you take with a non working unit. At least I have a pretty case to put on one that works with an ugly case!

    Great nostalgia

    It's been so long since I last used a Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite, not counting the 3DS models. Great price for the Guitar Hero: On Tour-themed Nintendo DS. It was in great shape.

    Excellent Gaming System!!

    This is an excellent gaming system. My son is 10 & plays it everyday. Also, great for when you are on the go..keeps the kiddo busy. He especially loves playing guitar hero & ease of use is great! The system is light weight which is also a plus. I would definitely recommend to family and friends & the price was well worth it.

    Don't work

    The ds turns on but doesn't work for ds games so what was the point of saying it works when it in fact does not The way it was shipped was just not right. No protection whatsoever
