To Goddesses Unknown
I purchased this book on the recommendation of a respected author and friend who loves all of Jean Shimoda Bolen's books. Although the topic and contents focusing on Jungian psychology and using Classic goddess mythology are clearly and cogently written, I personally found this viewpoint not useful for my own personal development, psychological, and spiritual well being. Basically, I had trouble keeping track of which goddess had which characteristics. Also I couldn't identify with any of them so help me God(esses)!!!! I just can't believe and use the images from the Greek and Roman pantheon. This could be because I like things simple and having one God(ess) is easier to relate to and identify with. As it is most of my belief is in Jesus Christ who though a male, loved everyone, ...
