Arrived in excellent condition both books for my grandchildren for valentines day to go along with an canister to hold legos with an handle on it and big box of lego's too for each of them so they can look through the book for ideas of what to make and use their imagininations

Not really "The Ultimate" Lego Book...it's nice though
It does not have much for the Lego collector, like the one that is set to be re-released towards the end of 2010, named "The Lego Collectors Guide: 50 Years Collector's Guide" which has practically every Lego set ever produced from the beginning in 1958 to 2008 when it was printed in limited quantities, much to the dismay of those of us who began collecting seriously about then. Now it sells for a hundred or more, unless you look on Amazon.uk or something where, depending on teh exchange rate you cn get it for something near $70...still a pretty penny ove it's $29.95 MSRP. The Ultimate Lego Book
My son is doing a report on the inventor of Lego and this book was always already out or on reserve at the public library. (It is a very popular book about a very popular toy) I bought it because the price was reasonable and because the report deadline was looming. The book itself has great photos and many interesting facts. Some language is a little advance for a child but we are reading it together and I explain some of the "bigger" words. Fun with Imagination
