Cold colors, rough material
Well, the belt looks different than on photo that is used on all the shops for this PRS strap. There is no warm yellow-greeny, but more of blue and gray. The leather is very dark brown-gray, the buckle and rivets are of a lame chromy stainless steel but not brass. The blue is cold. The gold thread is glossy but not warm yellow. The strap itself is made of something like cotton perhaps but it is thick, heavy and rough. It will last longer than a typical guitar player. I think this is not neccessary, my thinner pure cotton soft Levy’s-Fender strap is worn out but survived more than 20 years. I don’t think that a hippie in 1968 would buy this strap after grabbing it for a few seconds in a music store. Nice Strap
I’ve never purchased a coordinated strap with my guitar but it is a great compliment ( to the detail) to my PRS. Quality leather, soft and has a broken-in feel. Slits for the guitar strap buttons are a little larger than other straps so it makes install and removal much much easier because if you own a PRS you know the strap buttons are larger than most. Threaded fabric pattern appears well made and the metallic sheen was more pronounced than I expected but I like it personally. My only concern was whether it would “glitter” up my shirt. Gladly it is stable and just adds an aesthetic that should look great under stage lighting. The Flying Bird logo looks great and compliments the PRS very well, a great match.
