    Not sure how accurate it is, but it's a great gauge if you are out and plan to drive to learn how your body responds to alcohol. For $20, it could save you thousands.

    This unit does not work. It's highly inaccurate.

    I have 2 highly accurate Alco-Sensor police grade breathalyzers that are recently and properly calibrated. I used them to compare readings with this BACtrack unit several times at different alcohol levels. This unit never once came anywhere close to showing the actual level. It was not uncommon for this unit to read at double the actual alcohol level.

    Good value

    Very inexpensive [$20-30] and usually within 0.01+/- of top-end CHP hand-held breathalyzer. Once though, it registered 0.04 and CHP device showed 0.067 and 0.069. Not a random#generator like some on the market, but if you have had a few drinks and it registers above 0.04 take a cab or have someone else drive!
