Seriously claustrophobic. Every scene is in tight spaces or...no spaces. And, further underwater than I can figure any sense, sanity or monetary-wise. Anyhow, doesn’t matter, it’s all part of a film that goes balls to the wall intense within the first five minutes and gives you scant moments to catch your breath. Only watched this once and caught only one continuity error but it isn’t anything glaring-unless you’re good at picking up on the color red. The comparison to Alien and similar films is apt changing the locale with the major difference of ditching any plot points beyond the need for escape. The creatures are nasty enough and CGI’ed with enough translucency to be believed as something ocean-dwelling. The end may not be to everyone’s taste but I liked the very Lovecraftian being that, seemingly, was awakened by the deep sea drilling rig. It’s foreshadowed by one of the survivors, in the beginning of the film, when she’s having a problem keeping things together. Some familiar horror film tropes, excellent set design, good effects, characters that are more fleshed out than the usual ten little Indians horror flick-this was a fun movie. Read full review

So if you have a home theater, you will like it, thing is they spent all there money on the effects, and should of got some better actors. T J Miller is ok, But enuff with all the girl power stuff.
