    Pumping waste semi truck oil

    After trying the cheaper pump on here that failed miserably to transfer even clean brand new oil over a quart, I decided to try this pump. I will say that it works very well fro transferring thick semi truck waste oil into the storage barrel. Transferred 15 Gallons in about 10 minutes. Pump only slightly heated up. I need this pump to last and the number one killer of any one of these pumps is heat. As long as you don't let it heat up and shut it down when it heats up, it seems like it will last a long time. Key is to not run it with the thickest oil like I am too long. I was going to shut it down in 5 minutes, but it kept cool and only slightly heated up after it drained all 15 Gallons not quarts but gallons of used 15w40 semi truck oil. I'm impressed!

    Chinese junk!

    This is a real review from a real person that bought one of these amarine pumps. The pump is just yet another piece of junk made in China. Spend the extra money and buy something American or Canadian made. It leaked and ran hot on the first 3 minutes of use. It is a complete piece of sh*t and a fire hazard. After reading a lot of positive reviews I decided to try one, I'm kicking myself now. Never buy anything Chinese if you have any choice no matter how much more expensive it is.

    The perfect pump.

    My friend purchased on a few years ago and it has performed flawlessly. I have pumped old oil , hydraulic fluids and diesel fuel. It runs continuously for 300 gallons of diesel fuel. No problems. I purchased 2, one for oil and one for diesel.
