My Helibars have solved my problem of sore elbows are arms! Prior to installation, my elbows would start to hurt after 30 minutes of riding. After installation, my arms don't hurt at all! I do have the handlebars set in the most swept-back position. The quality of all the parts is high. I had no issue at all with the quality. The stated installation is about 1.5 hours, however I think this surely applies only to those experienced in installing Helibars. I am fairly handy and it took me almost 3 1/2 hours. The instructions were generally good, though a few steps were a little hard to understand, in part because the pictures showed a dark part in front of a dark/black background. Finally, the price, I think, is a bit steep at $249 but that's the price everywhere.

I like the helibar system for my 2012 FJR1300 It was well made and the directions were great. My only complaint is the ugly little additional section of brake line that you have to install. I would have paid a little more to have a full length line that looked good and fit right. I hate it everytime I look at it...which is all the time. Just looks cobbled together.

Fairly simple install but you need to plan out out beforehand. It solves the the forward lean issue. Like others I don’t like the brake line extension looks but it works. I chose to relocate the clutch line also. It’s the best option I’ve found after trying the risers only. A little pricey

This addition to the FJR much improved the riding comfort. It allows a much better riding position making long trips much more enjoyable. Highly recommend.
