    Jury is out

    Nice camera easy enough to figure out. Short battery life is an issue. Glitches out for no reason when reviewing photos and videos. Photo and video quality are great on an hd screen. Editing software is pretty cheesy wants your to sign up for monthly subscription to get better features.

    Built in battery is a big problem

    This version has a built in battery. The camera battery self discharges fairly fast. Even worse, if the connections (wireless) are on the battery drains very fast. So you have to make sure the camera is charged up before using, forget and you may not be able to use it. Other than this it is a nice instrument for its intended purpose.

    Wouldn't buy again and wouldn't recommend due to battery limitations and fragility.

    Using as a bike camera; which is probably not the best use for this model due to battery limitations. Pros: Good image stabilization and quality. Light and stable. Camera can be oriented at any angle and the image is always right side up (as per the setting you choose). Cons: It seems sturdy but it's not really; it fell from a shelf less than 3 feet onto blacktop. Even though it was in the protective case, I now have some black lines covering a dime size area in the middle of my screen. The controls on the camera are non-intuitive and awkward, though the Quick app works better for camera control. Max battery life seems to be about 2.5 hrs. Battery is built in, so can't carry a spare. I wouldn't buy it again and wouldn't recommend it.

    Glitchy

    This is a really unreliable camera. I had to do three hard resets in the first weekend of use, and sometimes the touchscreen doesn’t respond. An action camera needs to be able to get up and go, and I can’t trust this one to do it. Returned.
