    This is my first Citizen watch, and it appears to be of excellent quality. It arrived quickly and is new in the box. The watch is big and thicker than the watches I'm accustomed to, which I suppose is to hold the solar cell and battery, but it does make a statement. The nylon band is very high quality with grommets in the holes, which I like. This watch doesn't have a lighted dial, but the glow in the dark hands and markers are bright and make it easy to see the time at night.

    Citizen AW 5000xxx

    Great watch with proven Eco-drive (solar, no batteries & quartz movement) tech. Excellent arabic numerals that are easy to read for main 12hr & 24hr at a glance. Larger case size, 42mm, for those with larger wrist sizes (8” maybe?) so you don’t look like your wearing a ladies watch. DEEP dial which I find awesome. Band is a little stiff but I’m sure will break in nicely. I bought as a daily beater and love it, buy it you won’t regret it.

    Nice watch , well designed.

    I like this watch. well thought out and easy to read. I gave it 4 stars because the strap is a little short. If it was about 1/2 " longer it would have been great. Also, it probably isn't covered by a factory warranty.

    Waches worked like supposed too.

    I have had watches like this before. These watches have some weight to them. They feel good on your wrist. I work in the heat, and I hope that the plastic on one of the watches will hold up. This a great watch for the price.

    Simple, Sporty Design

    Never need to change a battery? What's not to love? There are more expensive watches out there but why bother when all a Citizen watch needs is light, and not necessarily sunlight.
