    Not a tight joint, bought 2 and both had a slight play in the joints, feeling like a worn joint

    These items were bought for my 2003 Audi RS6. The part number was correct and checked and upon arrival they appeared to be identical to the old joints, however, upon fitting I found that the inner tripod bearing was free and loose to fit in to the housing (the old ones require a puller and press to split and re-fit) so the result of these ones are that they feel loose in the housing and actually feel like a worn joint. The other point is that when fitting the tripod on the driveshaft it should take a press to push them on, or some hammering with a brass hammer, but these one fit loosely with no friction. I am not sure if either of the above problems will affect the use and longevity of these joints, but I don't think I would buy them again on account of them being different from the ...
