    good sound at a great price.

    This is the second Vizio soundbar that I have purchased, the first is about 2 years old and has been trouble free and has outstanding sound quality. The second is the one this review is about and although the subwoofer does not have quite as good bass as the older one (could be position in room or room acoustics) it still is vastly better than provided by the TV itself. This unit is a refurbished one and although in different packaging looks and performs as if it were brand new as well as containing all materials. I purchased this for use in my master bedroom as the TV had backward facing speakers that sounded poorly especially at lower levels.     It never turned on

    The soundbar never turned on for me. There are dents and the cloth part of soundbar is torn at multiple places. Looks like it has been used heavily and not maintained at all. I plugged the power in the soundbar, it never got the power (LEDs never blinked or turned on). There was no manual or original packing or boxes, so I looked up at the internet for the manual and no luck. Looks like the soundbar is defective. I can get the power in subwoofer but can't connect it to the soundbar (as the soundbar has no power). There were two power cables (one for soundbar and one for subwoofer) and both cables can power subwoofer and none can power-up soundbar, that makes me believe that sound-bar is defective. I tried to turn it on using remote as well as the buttons on the soundbar without success.

    Solid!

    I had some trouble getting this to work with my Samsun TV, however thankfully this soundbar is capable of using so many different types of cables one finally worked. The sound is very good, especially playing music on your computer (just plug it into your headphone jack! cool right?), however with the TV sometimes I wish it were just a little bit more "clear" as to what actors are saying. Overall think it's a great value and overall fine product!

    Best Sound Bar That Beats all Newer Models

    This is my 3rd one of these because it sounds so good. This model is better than anything newer from all the other brands... which may be hard to believe but this set up sounds so good. I use it for music in my photo studio mostly. The 6" sub hits harder than you'd think. After a couple of audio adjustments on the remote, it's good to go. Great value, especially if you know how goog this sounds. I'm glad I was able to find this model since it's old.

    Good value for the money

    Simple to set up if you have a newer/Smart TV. Plugged it in to the wall and used the provided Optical cord for sound (from TV to the soundbar). My remote is defective. Learned that from Vizio Support. Support is very helpful and easy to deal with. They are shipping me a new remote at no cost. If you are watching a dvd that has DTS; there is an option on the remote to create a simulated surround sound (not just 2.1). Tried this option out, works fine. Downgraded? from an old 5.1 to this 2.1 bar. The sound is quite good for the price point of this bar. The wireless sub woofer does work. I feel for the price this is a good investment. I compared this bar to LG and Sony bars i saw in Best Buy, Target and Walmart. This soundbar received a very good review from NewEgg and they compared this ...
