Product Information

kill.switch is a third-person shooter that takes place amidst war-torn Middle Eastern cities, underground submarine bases, and other places. Cast in the role of an elite commando, players must carefully take out enemy snipers and guards while seeking cover behind walls, barriers, or other objects found within the environment. While the character ducks behind an object or presses against a wall, players can perform a technique called blindfire, which involves spraying bullets toward the general direction of an enemy without directly aiming at a target. The benefit to this procedure is the character will avoid damage from counter fire, since he remains out of sight behind an obstacle while firing the weapon. Players must carefully plan their attacks in order to beat the overwhelming odds stacked against their success. Enemies will work together in teams to flush out players from their hiding spots and coordinate attacks, making each encounter a potentially deadly one. kill.switch's tour of duty is composed of six missions spanning 18 distinct levels.

This game is a GEM!
This is one of my all-time favorite PS2 games! My kids are into shooters and I told them about this game I used to play. I was able to find it here and the nostalgia kicked in. Such a great game! It's one of the first games that used the cover/fire/blind fire mechanics, and the enemy AI actually maneuvered to take you down. The game is short and can be played through in a day. The story is very cool. It's a shame there was never a sequel or plans to franchise. I highly recommend adding this to your PS collection if you don't already have this gem. A fun shooter game and challenging. Good for an older game. Graphics are decent and weapon options are realistic. Adversaries are poor shots in the "Normal mode" but they get much better in the "Expert mode". A tutoral is offered before you get started but it doesn't cover all the options and movements. All in all a worthy game if you can purchase it for under $20.00.

In love again.
This is one of the best games I have ever played. I had it once and played it many times. I finally grew tired of it and gave it away. Now a year or two later I wanted to play it again. So I figured since it was an old game it would be hard to find. But I was wrong. All I had to do was go to ebay and look for it. I found it in no time and decided to purchase it. I now have it and love it all over again. It should have a sequel by now, but some of these gaming companies are not smart enough to realize when they have a winner, and could make more money by making a sequel, like Codename Tenka, and Black.This is one of the best games I have ever played. I had it once and played it many times. I finally grew tired of it and gave it away. Now a year or two later I wanted to play it again. So I figured since it was an old game it would be hard to find. But I was wrong. All I had to do was go to ebay and look for it. I found it in no time and decided to purchase it. I now have it and love it all over again. Great run & gun title.
Kill.switch is a great gun for the casual gamer that likes to sit down for maybe 30 to 60 minutes and run and gun. The mechanics for shooting from cover are very well done. There is very little story. Tehe game is all action and very fun. There is little stategy. The game is third person and the aiming mechanics are also very well done. I gave this game a 5 out of 5 for its puree fun, action gameplay. Pick it up.Kill.switch is a great gun for the casual gamer that likes to sit down for maybe 30 to 60 minutes and run and gun.
