    great, versatile product.

    good value, great image quality and most of all has component video output which was a must in my case. Only negative is the Netflix app; it's old school like on some early smart tvs. You have to add titles on a computer in the netflix website, only then can you choose to watch them in your "list" from this device.

    Great product! Automatically syncs w/ my LG theater sys

    I def will be cutting down on my cable plan b/c of this awesome blu ray player. Very easy to set up in a few minutes. No issues at all. The Netflix feature is very cool and the picture is very good. Its more like a "smart ray" player b/c whenever I turn it on, it automatically changes my flat panel mode to the proper HDMI connection and also turns on my LG compatible surround sound system. I can also watch youtube videos with ease and the Pandora radio is awesome too. Overall, a great buy.

    LG BD570 BluRay Network Player

    This is my third BD570. I rate the player 4.5/5. I feel the player is feature rich and getting better. By far, this is the best network player out there. Most recently I tried the Samsung BDP C6500 and the BD570 blows it away for the following reasons: No PC software agent (Allshare) required on your PC for sharing folders, more information displayed on streamed video and actionable (e.g. switching audio tracks, subtitle on/off support, and fast forward and rewind (1x,2x,3x,4x and more) - all of which is not available on the Samsung. The user interface design is very good on the Samsung, although a bit confusing on the advanced functions. However, I did like the fact that the Samsung displayed actual thumbnails of the videos in the shared folders/menu. The player does not get a 5 out of 5 ...

    Great Player for the price and excellent for Netflix streaming

    I bought this player mostly to use the Wi-Fi Netcast feature to stream in Netflix. It was incredibly easy to set it up and works like a charm. I used the Blu Ray disc play feature only once but I am quite impressed by the picture quality as well. Overall I am very impressed by the functionality of the player. The big question is-how long does it last without giving problems? I now have 2 of these players and the first one was purchased brand new and almost 1 1/2 year-old.It still works very well. The second was bought used on E-bay and is only a month-old. If these players run 2-3 years--we got our money's worth.
