For the Price you cant beet it, for almost 100" (96 Feet) i cant even see the pixels unless my face is right in front of the screen/wall. Cool features, such as on screen menu... angel correction, and so on. Some down sides that left me to only take one star away. 1. No Sound. 2. No mounting points. 3. The "Color wheel" located right after the lamp at the heart of the projector. The color wheel as its called (a motorized R/G/B shutter). a vary amazing piece of equipment after years of use the bearings go bad. I was successful to fix the motor on the color wheel by taking the unit apart (it really needed a cleaning after i got it.) and spraying the bearings with WD-40 this has worked for now.. until i replace it, aside from the humming noise that comes from my bed room that sounds like ... One Great Small Wonder
I buy and sell plenty of DLP projectors and I must say Optoma EP729 is a great little traveling companion. It does what more expensive DLP projector does for hundreds less. If you can get one for under $400 used BUY IT! Just make sure the hours are low because the lamps are not cheap. The specs are great. And it's small apckage pack a big punch.
