    Exactly OEM PART 2000 explorer XLT4WD

    The Motorcraft, DPFE EGR system switch fit perfectly, and was the exact part just as the one I took off that was faulty for my 2000 Ford Explorer, XLT 4.0 OHV. It solved my problem with the check engine light and I did replace the two high temperature vacuum hoses that went to the switch as well but my old ones were still good. I just dug it for maintenance feel good purposes ALL GOOD

    Word to the wise

    Never substitute the OEM in this situation. I bought a cheap one the first time. Spent the last 6 months trying to figure out why my EGR fault still existed. Turns out, the cheap part was the problem. Lesson learned!

    Worth the money!!

    It was well worth getting. Engine light is off and car is running better. Didn't realize the effect on the performance of the engine that this sensor has.

    Real part, real peace of mind.

    Official Motorcraft replacement part that installed easily and gives me the peace of mind of knowing this part will last and not fail prematurely like a lot of cheaper knockoffs from China will invariably do. Cost much less than local national auto parts store, so I had to wait a few days, but worth it to me!
