For some unknown reason Sony does not say what remote came with the DVP-CX985V DVD Carousel in the owners manual, but the service manual says both the RM-DX500 & RM-DX700 work. ...and needless to say, both are pricey. A+++ eBayer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
