    Programmer possibly only good for 5 keys

    The instructions worked exactly for my 2012 Altima. There is a single line, inside the manual where you cannot see without opening the package, that states that the programmer "will expire" after 5 attempts. I assume that this means that the programmer will brick itself after programming 5 keys, but it isn't clear.

    Programmer did not work.

    The programmer did not work. After going through the steps, it left the car so that the original key would not work ether. I called the tech support, they told me that it could happen sometimes, and told me I would have to get it towed to a dealer. I had to call a locksmith to program the car to the original an the replacement key.

    Works great.

    I watched a video from their website and read the directions. It worked great. Getting key cut was $5. Saved about $145. Dealer wanted $265. Told me it would take them 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Took 5 minutes.

    Exceeded expectations

    The product works. However. Theres only a limited amount of times you can use the programer. You can use it up to 4 times to program 4 keys. But after that the programer expires. It will not program any more keys. You will have to purchase a new one if you want to program more keys

    unit was described as open box, but appears to have been used and programming is only good for 5 tries. Apparently, it had been tried 5 five time, so it did not work.
