It was a brand new item, sealed in a Static Shielding Bag with a small bag of desiccant inside. This harddrive was made in Thailand dated 6 November 2023, 4 months ago. I replaced my bad sector old drive with this new one. My NVR worked from the first time I powered it on. I just needed to format the drive then the NVR worked again as usual. Good drive. Hope it will last for another 5 years. Thanks to the seller.
