Gotta get it really hot.
Apparently, because it is of such a small volume, this mold takes much longer than other ones I have to cast really good bullets. At first, it casts bullets with a somewhat rounded base as opposed to being sharp and clean cast. After it gets hot enough (several castings) then it does a satisfactory job. I am happy with it anyway, because it is used and my expectations were not extremely high.

The best bullet I've found for Evanix .357/ 9mm PCP Air Rifles!!!
I cast some of these wonderful 95 grain pills up and fired them out of my Evanix Rainstorm SL .357 cal Big Bore PCP airgun and I got this 8 shot group shown in the photos. That's 75 yards with an airgun that was sighted in for JSB Domed .35 cal pellets. I aimed 1 inch high above the bulls eye and this is what my typical group looked like. I shot 4 groups like this. These fit perfectly in my Evanix magazine and I could also insert them in single shot mode into the chamber extremely easily too. They load into the chamber from the magazine so smooth that I thought they weren't loading in at first. I thought they would be too small for the bore, and that I would be looking into casting .357 diameter ammo shortly, but when I test fired the rounds the groups were so incredible that I ... This bullet design and mold are Gems! I'm done buying pellets. JSB's don't give me accuracy like this, or penetration and expansion. Now to turn some of these rounds I casted into hollow points. :)

Great product, great price!
I own quite a few Lee molds and they all produce good bullets. This one is no exception. The mold heats up quickly to give you nice looking bullets. What's great is that the handles are included with the mold. Price is nice too.
