Appears to be well made, sturdy, and of good quality. I'm quite pleased so far. It's a very attractive belt. My wife even commented on it and my two large dogs had a very animated "sniff fest" with the belt being the center of attraction. Must be that Mexican cowhide. Seriously, I've bought several belts and have found that if the leather has a origin of the USA, Mexico, Italy, and/or India you have an excellent chance. China - no good - very inferior - but they look good. Fast shipping. A+
