Cold Steel Bokken 41.5"
This training weapon is solid and should handle controlled sparring very well. Even if only for training, in the hands of a professional it can put down an assailant with a well aimed blow to the skull, or cause serious injury with a thrust to the face. At the same time, it is a SAFE product. It has enough weight to force control on the downswing, and will give anyone in the 70 kg weight range a good workout. My only criticism is the molded hilt which feels slightly uncomfortable to grip, yet at the same time helps to retain awareness of grip.
