    It works!

    The housing is meant to handle a beast of a graphics card. I needed a solution for both the Mac OS environ and PC world. So I went with a used AMD card (VEGA FE). The CHroma Core X handles the GPU perfectly. It doesn't even look bad on the desktop. The USB hub disconnecting is a real issue, but fortunately, I don't need those ports.

    It works... sometimes.

    My initial impression of this product was pretty good. I was impressed with the build quality and the looks. After installing my card and downloading the software the experience was as expected. I played for a few hours and went to bed. The next morning I started up my computer and ran into a "Thunderboldt device may not work properly" message... Cutting to the chase here, I've tried everything from reinstalling drivers to a clean installation of windows with moderate success. I have yet to pinpoint the exact causes of my woes but the "true plug and play" experience should not be trusted as advertised. Also holy hell, it's much heavier than I imagined it would be(which I guess is a testament to it's build quality). People don't really talk about that but I guess this is a good ...

    Transformed my laptop into a top of the line gaming machine!

    The Core X Chroma is an amazing choice for folks with a thunderbolt laptop that want to enjoy desktop class performance with a full-sized GPU. It also doubles as a docking station for 4 USB ports and provides enough power to charge my laptop as well. Slotted with a modern graphics card I was able to push out incredible framerates to my 49" Samsung Odyssey G9 from a LAPTOP. A+

    Great design but very heavy

    Don't even think about traveling with this thing. With the gpu it comes out to like 15 pounds. It's ridiculous, and I think a little unnecessary. They could have used lighter materials that were just as strong
