GOOD DESIGN, POORLY EXECUTED
Good: Rated and observed pressure rivals low end electric pressure washer (I have both a Ryobi gas and Snow Joe electric pressure washer). Comes with a pair of high-capacity battery. Enough power to complete washing a truck. With the motor out of the way, the wand was light enough as not to cause fatigue even with the two batteries installed. Bad: Portability of the unit negated due to the location of the motor. One of the selling points of a product like this. Probably one of the main reasons why it was discontinued. It wasn't ready for prime time. The motor was installed towards the tail end of the unit's hose which in turn connects to an external water source. With this design, mobility during use is hampered by dragging the motor to the surface. A caddy or, wheels should have been part of the design. I tied the motor to a potholder with wheels to enable mobility. Perhaps the next iteration will be better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

not a safe product..
I am sorry to post this. i like WORX and enjoy the simplicity. this product is a failure on every mark and has life threatening safety failures. The wand and the hose are a user point of disconnection and have a serious FATAL flaw., the hose is 725PSI worth of pressure , surrounded by AC power wires. The connector used on the hose is METAL , while the wand is plastic. metal and plastic wont wear the same, and if there is a failure ( water leak ) then its possible to be electrocuted by one of the 3 AC spade type plugs in this connector. (brush-less motors are powered by AC not DC- and cordless tools convert the battery's DC into a AC wave to spin the motor) consider that the WAND is held with your hand, and the weakest point of failure is 1 inch below your grasp, scares me. i cant believe that company lawyers allowed this product into production., all pressure washers have a special high pressure hose, but how many of them wrap the electricity around that SAME hose AND place the plug right below your hand? stay away from this one , and if you already own one. then stay out of water while using it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Get one, you'll love it!
I went on line looking for a new 320 psi 20v hydroshot as my original looked bad from letting my brother-in-law use it to clean out 5 gallon paint buckets. I loved it and had kept it immaculate until that little episode. Anyway, it was then that I discovered the new models and when I saw this top of the line one, I said "Yes Please!" Although, I liked my original, I knew its limitations but this one promised to be much closer to a 120 vac power washer, power wise. And it is! I immediately went nutz, washing my house soffits, siding and patio furniture, etc just generally having a blast with it (pun intended). I also love the non-siphon drop in pump and when it kicks on, it sounds and acts like an actual power washer as opposed to say, a power rinser. It's still not as powerful as a 120 vac power washer but it's grab and go portability make it my go to for all but the biggest jobs. A noticeable improvement in power over the original
Had the original hydroshot, and although i liked the ease of use, there was a want for more power. I was hoping for a version with a real difference in more power. When I saw I could get a refurbished one of these at a good price I took the plunge. Upon initial use I had my doubts about the extra power, but when I cleaned off my front porch I could now get the pesky cobwebs off the siding that wouldn't come off with the original. And when cleaning my car I had more power to get off stains the original wouldn't. Although not as powerful as a full-on pressure washer, the upside is it's not going to cause damage from too much pressure. All-in-all I'm very pleased to be able to more thoroughly clean my porch and car, and I have a 1500 psi dedicated pressure washer that I can lug out if need be.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

DC Power isn't always the best alterative...
It is better than using a standard spray nozzle, I would recommend purchasing additional batteries if you want to get the job done. Not really what I was looking for.
