    dEE zEE ARE ALWAYS QUALITY PARTS .This tailgate assist is no different.Dodge made it an easy install.Dee Zee has a great video on how to install.The new body 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 mounts differently than the classic.When you open the package you think they left something out,but a little research guides you in the right direction.

    Easy open tailgate.

    Fairly easy installation, but a tool to remove the plastic rivets for the taillight would have been useful. Once the taillight is out it is a simple snap in place and re-install of the taillight and done. No more worry about dropping a heavy tailgate. Good device.

    Great product and price.

    I have bought this product in the past for other makes and models....they have always worked out great. This one I purchased was for the new body style of the RAM 1500 quad cab. I was extremely impressed with the way it attaches to the tailgate. It is completely hidden behind the driver's side tail light. Out of sight. Took me 10 minutes to install. Totally factory presentation. Worth every dime.

    Took all of 10 minutes to install. Removing tail light took 9 min, installing unit 1 minute. Does go down faster than anticipated but still very good product. More robust construction than expected.
