    Basically good, but the wheels fall off

    This is a handy and fairly easy to assemble tumbler, though for summer use only (it freezes solid in snow and ice). I loved it until the metal pipe linking the two wheels broke. It's hollow and couldn't withstand the weight of the compost when the two chambers were full. I complained, and the manufacturer's service dept. sent me another. But the two wheels and two stabilizers on the bottom of this thing are just not up to the task, so I took them off, which works better. Compost tumblers like this leak compost "tea," so it's a much better idea to put them on grass rather than a paved surface like a driveway. I tried that, and the leaking "tea" attracted flies. On grass, no problem. If you don't fill the chambers more than 3/4 full of food scraps and if you make sure you're adding twice to ...

    Hard to assemble

    The assembly direction must have been written by a man who's put it together several times. The directions were very hard to understand. I had to assemble most of it by the pictures on the webpage. For that reason, I won't give it a 5 stars. I still don't know how to secure the wheels. When I try to tamp on those end pieces, the bar slides. Apparently, this is a two person assembly.

    THE FROG

    I looked at a LOT of composters and I keep going back to the Frog. Mostly I like it's sturdy bright green base, it's mobile and I also like that it has two chambers. It took me some time to put it together but once I figured it out the assembly was easy. I'm currently cooking my first batch and it's breaking down quickly. I'm new to composting and I'm so pleased that I chose THE FROG. IT'S 👍
