This forend grip fit my Mossberg perfectly and has a wonderful grippy texture. However shipping and communication was terrible item arrived 10 days after the expected delivery date and seller took a couple days to respond and then just blamed the post office although the tracking number told me the seller had created a shipping label but had not dropped it off at post office until after 7 days late I opened a case through eBay then amazingly the tracking said they received the package

Very comfortable and yet simple
This hogue forend is very comfortable compared to any other synthetic plastic forend. The rubber is ergonomically contoured and fits well in your hand. Grip is of no issue, easy to hold and will not slip when you rack the slide. I should have installed this forend grip a long time ago. Went through the plastic original and another forend with rails on it, thinking it would improve my performance. Boy was I so wrong. The fancy looking synthetic forend with rails on it, was all for looks and did nothing for performance. Installing this Hogue rubber over molded forend made all the difference. You can rack the slide all day long, your arm and shoulder will be the ones to tire you out first. This hogue rubber forend is well worth the investment. Nice forends
Huge upgrade. Did not fit any of my guns, 500a , 535 needs a longer nut. Got mine for 8.95 extra. Glad I bought them still. Really nice. Not sure what model they fit without extension. But 20.00 for the forend, 8.95 for extender. Well worth it.

Outstanding product
The forend itself is great, typical Hogue. Only thing, you need to file down a little more than a 1/4 inch on the inside bottom for the tube assembly to fit snugly. Not hard to do, a dremel just melts it away, takes 30 seconds. Easiest way to do it, line up the tube assembly and mark the 3 lines on the inside. Done. Oh, and if you bought your mossberg 500 within the last few years, do yourself a favor and buy the hogue forend nut because the tube assembly is 6 3/4. The forend is designed for the older, longer tubes.The forend itself is great, typical Hogue. Another Great Hogue Product
What can I say, it is a Hogue product. I have this on my Maverick 88 converted to a HD weapon. I bought a 6 3/4 slide action tube with a Hogue extension and it fit perfectly. The foreend provides a good gripping surface to help control the recoil.
