    Great desoldering tool at a killer price.

    I wish it had a power switch for the heating element, but that's my only complaint. It heats up reasonably fast, gets hot enough and has enough mass on the tip to desolder from ground plane. It uses an ingenious trap for keeping the sucked up solder from going straight into the filter. It's paid for itself already after one day of removing sub-assemblies from scrapped boards.

    This thing is great

    It makes desoldering jobs a breeze. I’ve tried the manual pumps, wicking braid, and the soldering iron with the built in manual pump. Save yourself the hassle if you plan to do this type of work for more than a few jobs and pick one of these up.

    I should have gotten it along time ago, it has a learning curve but once you get to use a couple of times it is quick and easy to desolder and remove components
