      Delivered perfectly and works perfectly. Never owned battery operated trimmer before this. It works as well as gas powered. When the battery finally stops so do I (tired out) but it is nice having extra set of batteries and a quick charger just in case I wanted to continue. I trimmed weeds and grass and it worked perfectly. Even where I have never trimmed it did a great job. I did buy a 3 blade attachment when the string ran out instead of adding string. That worked even better on weeds and I don't have worry about the string. I'm very happy with purchase.

      This package a great value, for a quality addition to your tools

      It exceeded my expectations in all ways, but the string head. Luckily, there are a wide range of replacement heads and other solutions available for a ten mm left hand thread shaft. Very good, though, in every other way, Lasts a good amount of time for a battery driven outfit, has excellent power, and once you get the strap adjusted right, very comfortable to use. It's a Makita, what else can I tell you? All of their products tend to be pricey, but as a guy who's still using some pretty old Makita products, I can tell you they're worth it, and the deal on this one was an outstanding value. You won't be sorry.

      Expected light duty use but does more.

      Bought it for light duty trimming/edging. First day I put it to the test and cut an area about 2000ft² of 2ft tall weeds. It accomplished that on one full charge. The only negative I can say is it bogged down a little in the tall thick weeds because they started to wrap around spindle. With that in mind I was conscious about how much to cut at one time. Did great!

      Marvelous tool.
