    It's Perfectly Adequate for the Price

    The lock is a little bit on the fiddly side, not easy to disengage, but overall it's a fine product. If you're leaving the shutter wide open long enough to need the lock engaged, then an extra second trying to unlock it isn't going to make a difference. Could be a touch longer through.

    A simple product that still works

    It’s a nice product from the good old days where a simple, inexpensive, reliable and “doesn’t need batteries” cable release did the job rather than some big-dollar electronic remote that only works with one camera.
