    The part looks like the original, which is not the sturdiest. I had to disfigure the old one to get it out, so I was very cautious about the screwing in the new one. Since the top doesn't have straight parallel edges, for a wrench, or a place to use a screwdriver, it is hard to screw out or in.     Great price and exactly as described!

    I tried unsuccessfully to purchase this repair kit locally at several hardware and big box stores. One large Home store did offer to order it and have it shipped to me, but the price and shipping were almost as high as the price of a new faucet. I decided to check eBay and found it at a very reasonable price with free shipping. It fit perfectly and stopped the leak.
