Excellent Blu ray version -- resolution, color, and sound are dramatically improved over the dvd version (like night and day) I bought several years ago, making the movie significantly more engaging and enjoyable. The special features are somewhat thin but still provides interesting comments regarding what went into the making the video. I won't go into reviewing this movie or version beyond what I've written because there's a plethora of reviews online already. All I have to say is if you like the movie and you've never seen it in high definition, then do yourself a favor and purchase this Blu ray version to treat yourself to a fabulous experience of watching one of the best, if not the best, sci-fi film ever produced. Classic for a reason.
This cut of Blade Runner took everything that made this film a classic and made it even better. Visually it is dark and beautiful. The sound track is mind blowing and the cast, exceptional. It's one movie that I watch over and over and never tire of it.

It has plot.
I was worried that the film would be another generic sci-fi film ,all special effect and no plot or character development. Boy I was wrong. The movie itself is a noir quest for the definition of life in a dark cyberpunk science fiction environment. I don't want to go into details to ruin the film, but I am glad I bought this fim.

I had this Movie on VHS, the HD 1080p Bluray is a "World of Difference" in viewing pleasure. The Movie is still a Great Sci Fi Classic, one of Harrison Ford's Best, the supporting Cast fills out the Movie very well, the Movie Keep You Wanting more, Wondering, if ? Blade Runner has been my favorite movie since it first came out. I now have three versions of the film - the original, the Director's Cut and this Final Cut. The Director's Cut was a great improvement over the original, but while this Final Cut may be a little longer than the Director's Cut I didn't see a great deal of improvement. Nevertheless, it is still my favorite film. The cinematograpy and soundtrack are outstanding.Blade Runner has been my favorite movie since it first came out.
