    Could be improved

    In the absence of an alternative, yes this somewhat meets the bare requirement. The design in this day and age must improved to align with the two sides that are attached. When connected you can see that additional strain put on ends due to lack of proper design and also the cable tends to get caught in the lid when shutting the id, both of which puts additional strain on the wrong parts of the cable.

    Cheap but works.

    Whilst this product does perform the intended purpose it appears to be a very cheaply produced copy of the original item used by the car manufacturer. The cable ends are poorly formed and the cable itself is much thinner than the originals. However it is cheap.
