    A really handy sharpening tool.

    This is a fantastic tool for sharpening knives of all kinds. I is sturdy and very portable, so you can take it camping or fishing to keep your cutting edges sharp at all times. The tapered rod makes sharpening serrated blades easy and the groove in the tool is great for sharpening fish hooks. I highly recommend this tool for its ease of use, and its portability.

    Excellent Sharpening/Honing Tool

    This purchase is a gift. It is of high quality. I have used this exact tool for sharpening/honing for years. I carry one in my toolbox and one in my hunting/fishing gear. I also use this tool for minor de-burring and truing edges on metal parts. The pointed end fits perfectly into knife serrations. Knowing how to use these sharpening tools on a knife edge is as important as the tool's quality. I would recommend this sharpener to anyone.

    Keep it Sharp.

    An essential, but often overlooked piece of equipment for soldiers in the field is a sharpener for your knife. At home, I keep a large Washita stone and a leather strop to sharpen and finish my knives. But, when you're humping 60 plus lb rucksack, you want to do your best to lighten your load, so you can carry more ammunition and water. This Smith abrasives retractable sharpening stick is light and doesn't take up much space so you can keep it in one of your pockets. It is coated with diamond dust and is capable to sharpen some of the harder steels used in blades today. It does a pretty good job sharpening your smaller fixed blade and folding knives and is also good for touching up the blade of your fighting knife or bayonet.     Smiths Dret Diamond retractable knife sharpener, serated

    This is one of many I've owned and I still have one. It is great it works even on more than just pocket knives, it gives your knives, it leaves a nice Sharp clean edge, I would always keep one around, it is so easy to keep your serrated edges Sharp as well.
