I’ve bought 6-8 DX6 generation 2 and 3 transmitters to resell with helicopter’s I’ve reconditioned and sold. I’ve owned and operated many DX6 transmitters, and found them to be generally reliable, easy to learn to program and operate. The programming menus are intuitive, and extensive in the options they allow the pilot to do. You need to spend the time to learn the transmitter, but you’ll find that when cared for, the transmitter is durable and consistent, with few problems and breakage to worry about. A large model memory allows up to 250 different helicopters, drones, airplanes and sailplanes to be loaded with easy selection and easy model addition and deletions. Good weight, good feel, smooth stock gimbals, and access to fast efficient service should it be needed. All in all an excellent investment that can literally be the last transmitter you’ll ever need to buy. The generation 3 has a built in second antenna in the rear half of the transmitter case that isn’t present in the Generation 2 unit, but both share the same reliability and other features. Seriously overcharging for shipping do the research yourself find out what they should be charging before purchasing. The item work and look just fine. But as far as I am concern Listing your item and then shipped priority mail and then Sending it in a flat rate Box that cost half the amount of money Is just about the same as selling a defective item

I've been in RC for 35 years. I own a DX9 black and bought theDX6e to teach my daughter to fly Same programming as the dx9. Super easy to transfer models and set up the wireless trainer. This radio is a perfect radio for beginners to intermediate. The only thing it doesn't do my dx9 does is talk or have telemetry. The 3 position switches are great and so is the backlit screen that help remind folks to shut it off when finished. The only downside is I wish Spektrum would have made the cardboard box it came in as a cheap carrying case like many of the Blade aircraft do. I'm giving this my highest recommendation as a beginner to intermediate radio. It's packed with lots of great features, is easy to use, and will last for years. A+++

Excllent product....pretty standard r/c fare....my big complaint is the awful on-off switch. It works like a computer and has a marked delay on/off. Outside of that....Great.

Just got into RC airplane hobby. Bought this transmitter. It is awesome. Is exactly as I expected. Seller was wonderful, responding quickly to my inquiries. Everyone at RC club who is using this transmitter or the DX6e is very happy with them. Company was very responsive to my needs as well.
