Tommy Lee Jones should have won an Oscar for his wonderful performance.
There is nothing wrong with my copy. It is perfect. I have watched it three times and I also owned it in the past. It is sad but some inmates in prison from a young age just cannot do what is expected with regard to work, meeting friends, being appropriate at all times. He was a man of little patience and acted on impulse. I've worked in the prison system and I know that very few that I knew could have made it in society. Making correct decisions is one of their biggest problems.There is nothing wrong with my copy. It is perfect. I have watched it three times and I also owned it in the past. It is sad but some inmates in prison from a young age just cannot do what is expected with regard to work, meeting friends, being appropriate at all times. He was a man of little patience and acted on impulse. I've worked in the prison system and I know that very few that I knew could have made it in society. LET THE BUYER BEWARE
Be very careful when purchasing this movie. It has been out of print for years. The DVD I purchased was described as the full uncensored version. Let me begin by saying I have never asked for a refund for a Half.com purchase. In this case, however, I have filed a claim for a refund. The DVD I purchased was not a quality DVD. I feel it was grossly misrepresented. After reading the item description, I was expecting to see the version presented on HBO and other cable movie channels. This version is a censored version, and the DVD was obviously made from a badly copied VHS tape (you can even see "bad tracking" video noise in some scenes). If I had only paid $3.00 for this DVD, I would forget it and chalk it up as a lesson learned, but $16.99? LET THE BUYER BEWARE. ... Be very careful when purchasing this movie.
