    Great Compact Saw

    Ive always used stihl 2 cycle saws but I needed something small and quiet for smaller jobs around the property. This saw filled the niche. It is well designed and cuts pretty well. The bar and chain are both made by oregon and are easily removed with no tools required. The toolless chain tightening system works great as well. The saw does use up bar/chain oil pretty fast so it stays well lubricated. You get about one batteries worth of use before the oil runs out, pretty perfect. Youll eventually need round files to sharpen the chain and i highly recommend a blower attachment for your air compressor to clean this saw after every use. Blow off all the crud at 75 psi, boom done. All in all I recommend it. The chain speed is much slower than gas saws but it does the job.

    USES MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF OIL

    Like the portability of it and recommend at least 2 batteries and at least 3.0 Ah battery. I am constantly filling this thing up with oil as it uses excessive amounts. I contacted B&D and have yet to get a resolution. Used various saws over the years and by far this uses the most oil. With B&D feedback and the massive use of oil I can't recommend this saw. I am an engineer by degree.

    Full size saw action, lite package.

    Works well with other 36V/40V equipment. Have 35 crepe myrtles to trim, which have hard wood, but smooth bark. A crummy cut with a hand saw or loppers stands out, and I didn't want a regular saw because the potential drop of gasoline was out of the question. Also handy for clearing fence lines. It's light enough you can maneuver tight areas. Be careful! This is not a toy saw, it does the job. Uses the oil long before the battery is gone. I'll use for fall pruning, dead wooding, downed branches-think it'll be great. Love not yanking pull start equipment.

    Nice to a point

    Nice, quiet and compact, haven't used it a whole lot but it does cut oak. Doesn't have a lot of power and stops cutting if too much pressure is applied. It is what I expected and am happy with it. I also have the Black & Decker weed wacker, hedge trimmer and blower and like them.

    Nice saw!

    This saw is quiet and gets the job done. I cut through a 10" tree cleanly and cut it into logs. On the same charge; I was able to take the stump down below ground level so I can mow over it. Make sure to load the bar and chain oil up before using!
