The scope mount was is to install. All you do is stick a screw through the rear sight hole and put the nut on it. There were 2 draw backs to the Mount was that if you have a bayonet you either can't use it you or you have to take the rail off. Second is the way it mounts is by one screw it is possible for the scope to move up and down no sure if that will mess up Sights the scope

It did not come with any of the leveling screws that were supposed to come with it making it relatively useless. It can be mounted without the screws, but it will not be level whatsoever without the leveling screws. If it had the screws it would be decent, but I wish I hadn’t bought this and just bought the real UTG sight or some other real brand.

This rail fit very snugly, the built in stabilising set screws made this adjustable and sturdy. Its made of milled aluminum and accepts picatinny acessories snugly. Some installation advice: post 1920s mosin nagant sights are often soldered in place so it may have to be heated to remove the retaining pin. Be sure to compress the rear sight leaf spring before attempting to remove this pin as compressing it will relieve upward pressure on the rear sight and make your job easier. Also ensure that if you do have to heat it that no heat travels up to the reciever, only heat it enough to melt the solder then quicly remove the pin with a pin punch. Once the original sight is removed, this tri rail is very easy to install.

Mounted without any adjustments to rail of rifle. Needed a rail to mount scope with long eye relief. Did not want to have bolt bent for scope clearance. Mounted PS2-7x32 Osprey Global scope, gave me 10" to 13" eye relief with very clear optics. Tactical mount is well made and looks great on rifle.

I’m set up on a precision chassis for distance. I don’t know if I just got lucky with mine but my groups at 820 meters are about 3.5-4.75” on average five round practice. The side rails make it look better, plus I have a flashlight on one side aimed back with a red lens for dope, and maps under a hide. You will still need to shop for your personal scope, mine is 4.2” eye relief, depending on your scope you may need 6-8” when mounted so watch your dimensions at purchase, make sure the eye relief is there , balance to match the boar! I use a steel rod fits snugly in barrel with a line bubble attached, and a torpedo on the mount. Get your first zero then check presets on your scope if that applies!!!! I was set for all points in 25 rounds but I have presets from 20m -♾ lol only had one off set to fix at 50m .. happy hunting 💥💥 💥🔫🤠✌️Read full review
