Aside from the authors misidentifying 2-point perspectives for 3-point, this is a nice overview of John Howe's career and his mastery of presentation drawings. A pity Wright could not find it within himself to give credit where it is due. As stated by a fellow apprentice and head of the archives, The Master's prodigious output in his last 25 years would not have been possible without the talents and generous efforts of Howe and others. Would like to have seen more images from the Sandstone years. Otherwise, the content is quite balanced.

A excellent book on Mr. Howe as far as his career. Jack was a extensive correspondant and a bit more about his lifelong friendships with Taliesin Apprentices though would have been great. But still an excellent book about an excellent man

Good research yields good copy. Strong visual images are illustrative of points made in text. A book that clarifies some of the Wright mystique by explaining the nuts and bolts of a very productive design firm. Five stars.
