I can’t really say if that’s true; but the color seems to be slightly darker than real gold. In any case, I’m really hard on rings because I work with my hands a lot. And I like that the tungsten carbide is much stronger than other materials and won’t crush or deform on my finger. Because of the fully radiused profile it’s also super comfortable to wear. 5/5 stars!
