Basic wifi thermostat
It's a good basic wifi thermostat. It has changeover where if it drops below a certain temp the heat comes on, and above a certain temp the A/C comes on. 7 day programmable thermostat with geofencing. It was very easy to install and setup, im a caretaker for my grandmother i was quite impressed it has a sleep mode as she gets cold at night it will automatically turn the temp up. God forbid your wifi shuts down or reboots you have to re-setup everything. I surely thought this would be hard to install...thought long and hard about calling an Electrician to get this done...but I watched enough YouTube videos that helped me get it done...yay I did it myself... I'd say peeps do yourself...cut the power and move on.. O MY GOODNESS so love it...seems like I'm saving money already ...my old thermostat would kick on and off always and this one it's been 4-6 hours since it's kicked on... Love the Alexia Compatibility and also my phone...can't wait to try the geo effect...as I get closer to home the thermostat heats or cools to my pre set Temps...can't wait. This unit works like a champ. Haven't used GeoFencing but was able to have the heat back on by the time we got home after taking a two day trip. Set the heat for the time you want it to reach that temp and it takes into account the outside temp and does it. Jolly good
This product doesn't required battery so therefore C wire is needed to power the thermostat. It does come with C adaptor so you can have a C wire to hook it in the C slot behind the thermostat. Hooking up the C adaptor in the furnace was simply/easy. The confused part was it didn't show or tell what wires go to what letters behind the thermostat. I educated guess and used same color wires and letters at the adaptor to match the letters behind the thermostat. Behold it worked.
