Ingenious, smooth and sturdy
Does almost infinitely adjustable buttonholes! Does not do keyhole buttonholes, but prettily rounded ones of in a wide range of length, width, stitch density and center width by just adjusting the buttonholer itself. Needed a bit of cleaning and oiling, but worked smooth as butter afterward. It is all metal and looks to be good for another 80 years.
