Included are the original Sudden Strike (2001), its expansion Sudden Strike Forever (2001), and the sequel Sudden Strike II (2002). Set in World War II, Sudden Strike combines real-time strategy with tactical simulation elements in more than 30 missions. The game features diverse scenarios made up of several missions each, for extended campaign play. During battle scenarios, up to 1,000 units -- consisting of French, German, British, American, and Russian forces -- can be active at the same time. Fireglow serves up more World War II tactics and action in Sudden Strike Forever, an add-on for its graphically impressive 2D real-time strategy game Sudden Strike.This RTS expansion pack includes 12 new missions, more than 30 new units, varied seasonal landscapes, enhanced play options, and several new challenges. Sudden Strike II features more than 40 new missions, playable separately or in five campaigns, and more than 50 new units. In the five campaigns, based on specific World War II events, players control the forces of one of five different nations at various points in the conflict. In order of difficulty, the campaigns feature Germany (1943), the United States (1944), Russia (1944-1945), Britain (1944), and Japan (1942-1945).
