    Light, versatile film camera

    When I started photography in the sixties I couldn't conceive of a camera like this. I'd have to find an SLR, 3 Different lenses, a good light meter, and a bag to carry them all around with. And who would have expected autofocus? This is a camera that can do it all that would be easy to overlook. Similar equipment is the Nikon N65 and the Minolta Maxxum 3. I have two Pentax MZ-50s, one with the 35-80mm zoom and one i use my other Pentax Takumar lenses with. I like to be able to use it autofocus or manual. I also like the fact I can get the batteries at the drug store. It would be fine as a person's only film camera.

    Great camera and lense

    great lens, used in Pentax DSLR and takes amazing picture considering the low price. I have several of the same lens and found the one that was made in Taiwan to be of better quality than the later one that was made in Vietnam. But it could also be sample to sample varaince. I don't have film to test the camera.
