    Keeps my sinus problems in check

    I take mucinex daily to prevent my chronic sinusitis from coming back. My doctor said that it is safe to take daily. It has improved the quality of my life SO MUCH. I was miserable with sinus pain and vertigo for weeks at a time. Sometimes it would go away for a few weeks, but would always come back. It was a nightmare. All I wanted to do was sleep. For some reason mucinex and Allegra once daily keeps the symptoms at bay. Unless I get a bad cold or something. Mucinex is expensive and it’s usually hard to find store brands of it. This really is a great value. It can’t be beat.

    Best 600mg Guaifenesen for the price.

    This used to be prescribed, many years ago, to loosen the thick mucous I was frequently coughing up, for which it worked exceedingly well. Then because of some other ingredients that were always included in the pill that caused some problems, guaifenesen XXX was taken off the market, not even able to be prescribed. Now, this Mucinex product, which is 100% guaifeneson, the ingredient that does all the great work it previously did, is back on the market and even over the counter. Guaifeneson is, once again, making my quality of life so much better. Moreover, if one doesn't ingest, say, more than 1200 mg (two of these pills) a day, it can be taken virtually every day. I"M not a physician, but my experience is that the beneficial effect is cumulative, meaning that if I forget to take 2 a ...

    take it twice a day

    I have had post nasal drip my whole adult life. I take 3 kinds of RX, but if I don't add Mucinex to the mix, nothing works. My doctors have given up trying to figure it out so I hope I'm not doing damage to myself by taking this. It does raise the blood pressure, and I am on blood pressure meds too. The price was great for the amount of product compared with buying in the store so I hope that more will be available when I need it again.
