The spirit world meets the futuristic landscape of Tokyo in this anime series. A recent grad of the police academy, Shindou becomes a member of a secret group to bring justice to his slain parents. There Shindou meets Rokujo, the scantily clad woman who has been a fixture in his dreams. Together they investigate a series of strange happenings responsible for a mass slayings throughout Japan. As the team uncovers more clues behind the massacres, their travels take them deep into the underworld to confront demons and the phantoms from their pasts.
